Nashik (Maharashtra): Pujya Anil Maharaj inaugurated the photo-exhibition, devised by the international organization FACT and organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), in the presence of Shri. Ajay Boraste, Dy. Mayor of Nashik as the Chairman of the function. The exhibition has been organized at Public Library’s Limaye Hall on Tilak Road.
In his inaugural speech, Pujya Anil Maharaj said, “Presently custom and traditions followed by Hindus are being destroyed. There is ban even on girls applying ‘kumkum’ and wearing bangles in schools. Criminals are sentenced considering the religion they belong to. In such circumstances, Hindu Janajgruti Samiti is doing a very laudable job of creating awareness among Hindus through the medium of this exhibition. Everyone should try to stop anti-Hindu activities.”
Shri. Boraste, Dy. Mayor of Nashik Municipal Corporation said that the situation in Kashmir is very grave and such things can happen even in Nashik. He said that today’s Government is not ready to even believe in the existence of Sree Rama. India has faced such assaults on Dharma even earlier and assaults are going on even after Independence. He thanked HJS for holding such exhibition.
