Nashik (Maharashtra): A seminar was organized on ‘Genocide of Hindus’ during the FACT’s photo-exhibition held at Limaye hall.
Dr. Prof. Sinnarkar Maharaj, keertankar of national fame, Shri. Ajay Boraste, Dy. Mayor of Nashik, Shri. Sunil Bagul of Shiv Sena, Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, spokesperson of HJS from Pune and Shri. Satish Kulkarni, municipal councilor representing CIDCO took part in the seminar which was attended by about 100 devout Hindus.
Shri. Ajay Boraste said, “It is the responsibility of every citizen to fight against terrorism. Hinduism is not a monopoly of any particular caste or community but every citizen of Hindustan is a crusader of Hinduism. The Government and politicians are mainly responsible for such condition of Hindus. We do not want to leave security of our four walls but there is attack from all four sides, what are we going to do? Therefore, the mission taken up by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) is laudable.
Dr. Sinnarkar explained about the assaults faced by Hindus since the last few centuries for their annihilation. Shri. Ghanavat of HJS said that today terrorism is knocking at our doors. If we do not wake up now, we may have to include even our pictures in this exhibition as affected parties. We should introspect whether under the guise of secularism, we have become impotent. Our mental weakness and lack of knowledge regarding Dharma are the main reasons for such condition of Hindus.
Shri. Bagul said that within 20 years of time, situation in Nashik could be similar to that of today’s Kashmir. Some time back, an unauthorized wall of a madarassa in Nashik was demolished when the Muslims went on rampage and broke 1035 vehicles.
Many newspapers and news channels in Nashik gave publicity to the exhibition. Many school children visited the exhibition. There were also 4 Muslim youths who came to see the exhibition but their movements were quite suspicious.
A review meeting will be held for devout Hindus at Ramnaam Adhar Ashram, Opposite Sree Kalaram Mandir, Panchavati, Nashik on 30th September (Sunday) 2007 at 5.30 p.m. For details contact – 94222 49329
