Dehradun: A rare 1818 coin minted by the East India Company, now in possesion of Sh. Ashok Kamboj, Dehradun, a collector of rare manuscripts and coins.
In view of the affidavit filed recently by the Congress led government he asks the following questions :
- Why did the East India Company have to mint this coin with images of Lord Ram, Sita, Lakshman & Hanuman, after over a century of their presence in India?
- Was it because of people’s reverence?
Can all stories passed over generations be called heresy? - Did the spoken word not precede the written word?
- Was Ram really a mythical character?
- What if he was?
- Does God exist?
- What proof do we have?
- Why do we swear by God?
- Why are Ram Navami, Dussehra and Diwali celebrated and why are they gazzeted holidays?
- Were ‘Hey Ram’ Mahatma Gandhi’s last words or were they coined following his death?
- Why do Hindus swear by Ram and wish each other Ram, Ram?
What if the Congress government had called Christ or Mohammad mythical? - Could it dare to?
- Why is Ram an oft-repeated word in the Guru Granth Sahib?
- Do Hindus need to question their history?
- Haven’t civilizations rested on beliefs?
- Why swear by the Gita?
Why do we chant " Ram naam saatya hai " while going in the prosession wirth the dead body.
To sum it up he says,
‘If Ram, Krishna, Ganesha, Hanuman, or God, are mythical characters then be it. Don’t humans look up to them?’
Just think of it……..????
