HJS : Dharma-prasar activities undertaken in Satara
A. Dharma-shikshan class organized for ‘Shiva-pratishthan’s members : In Dharma-shikshan class held for Shiva-pratishthan’s members at Karanje, importance of Diwali festival was explained and the topic was liked by all participants of the class. They placed order for 150 copies of special Sanatan Prabhat’s Diwali special issue and also bought sattvik products.
B. Guidance by HJS during program held on Vasu-baaras : HJS activists were told by members of -Gou-raksha Sanghatana- (an organization which tries to nurture and grow number of cows increase our cattle wealth) from Malegaon that they would join HJS dharma-prasar activities carried on at Limba and they asked for issue of Dainik Sanatan Prabhat. They had arranged a program on the occasion of ‘Vasu-baaras’ and they invited HJS in this program, giving them an opportunity to present the subject. They also showed interest in HJS starting Dharma-shiskshan and self-defence training classes in their village.
C. Tehsildar takes note of representation submitted to District Collector regarding crackers : On 13.10.2014, HJS submitted a representation to Shri. Ashwin Mudgal, District Collector for prevention of denigration of Deities and national leaders occurring through crackers. Tehsildar, Shri. Rajesh Chavan took note of it and issued a letter to Association of Satara- city cracker-sellers/vendors instructing them to stop such denigration.
D. Police Inspector (PI) B. R. Patil helps in Dharma-karya : Police Inspector B. R. Patil, Karad-city liked the topic of ill-effects of crackers very much as a representation was submitted to him. He offered to help in case of any problem faced in undertaking this drive. On 12.10.2014, ‘Dharma-ratha’ was brought to Karad but few people started opposing to ‘Dharma-ratha’ when it was set up at the planned location. Shri. Patil was therefore, informed about it. He instructed not to shift the Dharma-ratha from its place and to send those people to police station to meet him, who were objecting to ‘Dharma-ratha’.
