Mumbai: The Government is implementing Sacchar Committee Report only to satisfy Muslims. Condition of Hindus is also bad in this country. In 5 States, Hindus have become minority. The Government should extend facilities to even Hindus in those States. In this country, survival of Hindus is in danger. The Government should set up Commission for protection of Hindus as it has done in case of Muslims by setting up Minority Commission. The above appeal was made by Jagatguru Narendracharyaji Maharaj in a press conference.
Maharaj said, “I am not supporting increasing population; but if Muslims are not governed by ‘Family Welfare Act’ due to their Shariat Act, Hindu Dharma also advocates Hindus to have 5 children. But Rulers are making such Acts applicable only for Hindus and trying to reduce their population. The Government should make applicable the same civil rights Act to one and all and should bring Muslims under the purview of Family Welfare Act too. When there is end of faith, there is end of spirituality and man becomes immoral like a demon. Faith teaches man how he should live his life. If faith is eliminated, there will be increase in crime, robberies and rapes etc. Even then the Government is trying to pass an Act to eradicate faith under the guise of eradication of superstitions. The matter is concerning Dharma and the Government should discuss with the respective experts in the field. The Government is misusing money donated by Hindus in temples and trying to pass even the Temple Take-over Act. When there is the control of Charity Commissioner on the activities of temples, why do we need such Act? Hindu Dharma offers protection to its identities in the form of women and temples and by passing such Acts, the Government is trying to assault its very characteristics.” He said further that the Government should keep reservation only for economically backward citizens rather than for any casts and creeds. Hindus have no alternative but to unite. Hindus should now follow the advice of their Dharmagurus rather than the politicians.
