Joining HJS campaigns is performing duty towards Dharma ! – Pranav Manavi
Nipani-Belgaum (Karnataka) : Today, Hindu culture is being attacked from all sides; but it is commendable that Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has come forward to protest against such attacks. It is the duty of every Hindu towards Dharma to participate in campaigns undertaken by HJS. Hindu girl students were not allowed to apply ‘kumkum’, or wearing lockets, applying henna on hands or even tying sacred threads on wrists in Convent schools of Bengaluru and BJP had staged agitations against these things.
Christian organizations do not allow Hindus to abide by their Dharma and one needs to raise this concern with unity. The above appeal was made by Shri. Pranav Manavi, BJP city-Secretary during demonstrations held under the aegis of Rashtriya Hindu Andolan at ‘Kittur Rani Chennamma Chowk on 14th December. 35 – 40 devout Hindus joined the demonstrations; including members of Sriram Sena and Shiv Sena, and BJP besides other pro-Hindu organizations.
Shri. Madhukar Nazare of HJS said, “The curriculum of South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies of Bengaluru is mainly based on teaching propagation of Christianity and how to carry out conversions etc. There are other similar organizations in this country disseminating such training and all of them should be immediately closed down and stringent legal action should be taken against them.
Shri. Anil Budake of HJS said, “Nowadays under western influence, people celebrate the Christian new year on the eve of 31st December involving many malpractices. The Government should give proper instructions to the concerned machinery to put a curb on these things.” Dr. Mansingh Shinde of HJS also addressed the demonstrators.
