HJS submitted Representation to Navi Mumbai Commissioner

Navi Mumbai (Maharashtra): It was observed that the crackers supplied by a companies like ‘Ayan’ from Shivakashi had pictures of Hindu deities. Such crackers were on sale at Sanpada, Vashi, Belapur etc. in Navi Mumbai. Members of HJS and devout Hindus have demanded imposition of ban on crackers with pictures of deities since on bursting of such crackers, pictures of deities on these crackers are torn to pieces causing denigration. This also hurts religious sentiments of Hindus. As such ban should be imposed immediately on these crackers. A representation to this effect was given to Mrs. Valsa Nair, Commissioner of Navi Mumbai and Konkan. Dr. Aditya Dhopatkar from Swatantryaveer Sawarkar Manch, with his mother, other devout Hindus like Shri. Ramesh Pale, S/Shri. Shankar Vavhal, Shankar Aldar, Gangaram Dhule, Anant Satpute and members of HJS were present on the occasion.
