Central Government orders Mumbai and Delhi police to take action against M F Hussain

The Central Home Ministry has directed the Police Commissioners of Mumbai and Delhi to be vigilant and ordered them to initiate appropriate action against the anti-Hindu painter M F Hussain. It is the first time that the Central Government has ordered such an action against the anti-Hindu painter felicitated with a ‘Padma-vibhushan’. Sanatan Sanstha has started a campaign against anti-Hindu painter M F Hussain for drawing obscene pictures of Hindu deities immediately after it learnt about these pictures. As a part of the campaign, the Sanstha published the offensive pictures of the deities and action proposed to be undertaken in this regard on the Sanstha’s website www.sanatan.org . The campaign has received tremendous response from staunch Hindus world over. Hindu Jan-jagruti Samiti started intense agitations all over India against M F Hussain and created awareness among people. The agitations are carried on for the last 6 months. In the last month, the Central Government took a note of increasing opposition to M F Hussain and ordered the Home and Law and Justice Ministries to conduct enquiries against him. The Intelligence Bureau has submitted a report to the Home Ministry that the obscene pictures of Hindu deities can cause communal riots. It has also been reported that in the Indore Court, a case is pending against M F Husaain for hurting the religious feeling of Hindus. The Law and Justice Ministry has examined 6 such paintings by M F Hussain and has submitted a report that there is a strong proof against Hussain to file a case against him in the Court of Law.
