PKM demands shifting of Kashmiri Pandits camps

Jammu: Deploring the alleged sub-human conditions in the migrants camps for Kashmiri Pandits in Udhampur district, PKM Sunday demanded shifting of the camps to better places.

"High degree of pollution level due to setting up of cement units in Battal Ballian area of the district have threatened the lives of the Kashmir Pandits living here for the past one year," Panun Kashmir Movement (PKM) chairman Ashwani Kumar Chrangoo said after releasing a survey report on the issue.

He said that a report on the problems of the Kashmiri Pandits living in these camps suggested that the camps should be shifted to safer places.
