Pune (Maharashtra) : H. H. Sree Bharatiteertha Mahaswami Maharaj, Shankaracharya of Shrungeri Peeth stated, "We shall save ‘Ram-setu’ revered by Hindus although the Central Government is planning to demolish it." He was talking to media-persons in a press conference. During His visit between 10 th to 13th November, various religious ceremonies were organized at Kesariwada.
He said further that when the Government announced its plan to demolish ‘Ram-setu’, he had declared his resolve to protect it. When he was asked about Dharma and politics, he replied that there is always Rama and Ravana but we have to be brave and not be afraid of Ravana. Hindu Dharma is eternal and will never be eliminated.
