Dishonor of the tricolor: memorandum to Thane magistrate

Thane (Maharashtra): Every republic day or independence day is celebrated with  paper or plastic national flags. However later the national tricolour is dishonoured in different ways. To protest against this denigration the Thane co-ordinator of the HJS Shri. Ajay Sambhus presented a memorandum to the Magistrate after which cognisance of the same was taken by the government.

To stop the denigration and dishonour of the national flag the local dailies should give extensive coverage to the issue. At the same time the HJS office should also be informed. A copy of the complaint should also be directed to  Shri Sambhus at the address of the Samiti. (The Sanatan Sanstha and the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti have been campaigning against dishonour of the national tricolour and creating social awareness about it for the past five years. – Editor)
