Advani still has Jinnah’s ghost on his head ! – Hindu Janajagruti Samiti

Mumbai – BJP’s Senior leader Lal Krushna Advani has shown his appreciation to the film ‘PK’. When Hindu organisations are trying their best to stop the ridiculing of Hindu Deities and religious rituals through the medium of the film ‘PK’, by making a statement in favour of the film, Advani has demoralised them; therefore, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti condemned Lal Krushna Advani publicly for glorifying the anti-Hindu film ‘PK’, informed the National Convener of the Samiti, Mr. Ramesh Shinde in a Press Note.

The press Note states further that, the contribution of Advani in the mission of Hindutva was certainly praiseworthy; looking to his advanced age he should be respected also; but for us, Dharma is a million times superior to him. Some years ago he had paid obeisance to the tomb of Jinnah and had made statements controversial and hurting Hindu sentiments. We can realise now that he still carries Jinnah’s ghost in his head. We must say that the BJP’s selection of Narendra Modi to the apex post in place of Advani was relevant as per the times.

Why BJP leader LK Advani wants everyone to watch PK

PK, facing the heat from Hindutva groups, has found a supporter in BJP’s LK Advani.

The veteran leader recently watched the film and came out praising it as a wonderful and courageous film, which everyone should watch.

“Hearty greetings to Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra for a wonderful and courageous film that they have produced in the shape of PK,” Advani said in a statement.

“We are fortunate to have been born in a vast and variegated country like India. This however casts on all patriots a duty to ensure that nothing weakens the unity of the country — neither caste nor community nor language nor region, and certainly not religion,” he added. Advani believes that religiosity is for “our nation an inexhaustible source of spiritualism, and so of ethical conduct. Those who run down religion, any religion, are doing a great disservice to the country and to its unity”.

“It is this cardinal lesson that emerges clearly out of this recently released film PK which has excellent performances by the protagonists Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma and Boman Irani,” he added. PK reviews

PK, starring Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma, Boman Irani and Saurabh Shukla takes a swipe on organised religion, god and godmen.

Given the sensitivity of the subject, this Rajkumar Hirani directed movie came under fire for depicting Hinduism in bad light. Director Rajkumar Hirani and Aamir Khan have defended the film saying it targets the those who use and misuse religion for their selfish gains.

However, PK has got a thumbs up from the public and is having a great run at the box-office . It touched the Rs.100-cr mark within four days of its release and is still going great at all the centres across the country.
