Navi Mumbai (Maharashtra): Mission of the Sanatan Sanstha is continuing under the command of Lord Sriramachandra is the proclamation made by the Municipal Councillor of the Shiv Sena, Shri Somnath Vaskar when addressing an audience gathered to unveil a plaque to inaugurate a road named ‘Sanatan Marg’ at Sanpada.
The function began with Shri Uddhavrav Kharade, the Chief Manager of the VHP, Navi Mumbai breaking a coconut at the venue. After the dignitaries attending the function lit the lamp the plaque was unveiled by Shri Somanth Vaskar. Others who graced the occasion were Dr. Aditya Dhopatkar of the Hindu Mahasabha, Chief of Goraksha, (the organisation protecting cows), Navi Mumbai Shri. Chandrahaas Bhoiir, Shri. Nanajibhai Patel a saint belonging to the Shri Asaramji Bapu sect, District invitee of HJS Mumbai Dr. Udai Dhuri, and a seeker of the Navi Mumbai sector of the Sanatan Sanstha Sau. Jayashri Patil. In his speech Shri. Vaskar said, "When I see the mission of the Sanatan Sanstha I realise that my contribution is equivalent to only a petal of a flower. Henceforth I shall assist the Sanstha wholeheartedly, as service unto Hinduism." Dr. Dhopatkar said, "We Hindus cannot afford to give up our valour. We have the great task of not only reconquering our lost land but also of ensuring that the saffron Hindu flag flies high in United Kingdom, Europe, USA, etc". Shri Uddhav Kharade appealed to other councillors to take inspiration from Shri Vaskar and emulate him. The Navi Mumbai invitee of the HJS Dr. Udai Dhuri said that it is because Hindus are uneducated about their religion that their minds are poisoned with misconceptions using words like Sanatan and Hindu religion. The Sanatan, Hindu or Arya religion denotes God and is the only religion which is capable of endowing man with the spiritual experience of realisation of God. Sau Jayashri Patil the seeker of the Navi Mumbai sector of the Sanatan Sanstha felicitated the dignitaries with bouquets. A display with ‘laizim’ was performed by the local social reformer and Shiv Sena worker Sau Sunanda Nikam along with students. The programme was compered by Shri Raju Patil of the Santan Sanstha and was sponsored by ‘Vandana Super market’ and ‘Narayan dairy’ and was attended in large numbers by Hindu protagonists and seekers of various sects.
