#BoycottPK : Hindu organizations united to counter “anti-Hindu” PK

The Amir Khan starrer ‘PK’ which is making a fast buck in the multiplexes in the country is now neck deep in problems with the various like minded organizations mainly Hindu organizations,demanding a total ban on the movie as it had allegedly hurt the religious feelings.

The Rashtriya Hindu Andolan, a federation of Hindu orgsanisations today declared that it would carry out serious nation wide drive against the movie being screened and spreading poison in the minds of the citizens.

The official spokesman of the Andolan, Balwanat Phatak told UNI that the activists of the various organizations under the banner of the Andolan would carry out agitation in Murbad, Kalyan and Thane cities on January 11, 2015 followed by agitations in the other parts of the state.

He said that the organizations which have agreed to be part of the agitation and would participate in large number included Hindu Rashtra Sena, Hindu JanJagruti Samiti, Hindu Samrajya Sena, Hindu Mahasabha, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal.

Addressing a news conference Dr. Uday Dhuri, the official spokesman of the Hindu JanaJagruti Samiti demanded action against those anti-socials who had raided a residence of an activist of the HJS, Swapnil Jagushte.

He along with Vikram Bhoir of the VHP addressing the conference said that the anti socials (who were reportedly affiliated to a political party) also raided the house and damaged the portrait of Swatantrya VeerSawarkar, and tore his books and also Sanatan’s Calender that contained the pictures of Hindu Gods and goddesses they said.

Manoj Surve of the Hindu Samarajya Sena and Konkan Region chief of the Hindu Mahasabha Jayesh Tikhe told newsmen that the anti socials who were heavily drunk also pulled down the saffron flag on the house.

They trumpled by leg the portrait of Sawarkar they said. The leaders who addressed the conference indulging Sitaram G Zuvatkar of the Hindu Rashtra Sena, wanted the police to take serious action and wanted the government to restore the portrait of Sawarkar which had been damaged.

According to available reports it was the result of a What’s app war between the admirers of Sharad Pawar and Narendra Modi, both had reached extremes over allegations in exchange of serious allegations and casting and making insulting remarks. The clashes between the two erupted on the fateful night it was learnt.

The city police arrested some of the members who had raised the house and also Jagushte was arrested under the IT act.

Those addressing the news conference further alleged that there was calculative attempt to defame a particular religion just to gain popularity of the other religions they said.
