Angarak Chaturthi Demonstrations at Siddhivinayak

There was a huge crowd today at the Siddhivinayak temple due to Angaraki Chaturthi. HJS organized demonstrations outside the temple at Prabhadevi. It was observed that the devotees were very angry with the Trust squandering money on the international conference. About 50 persons participated in the demonstrations. One of the devotees said that the Rs. 50=00 lakhs were donated to an Old Peoples’ Home established by an ex-sheriff. Now there is a ‘Picnic Spot’ at the place. A member of the Bajrang Dal said that it was a matter of shame that there is a need to create awareness among Hindus towards Hindu religion. A volunteer from one sect said that what is the harm if a Muslim is appointed on the Board of Trustees? After all, he is also a human being. HJS also continued with its signature campaign. Some of the florists on the way to the temple had voluntarily put up the banners against the Trust. The break up of money wasted by the Trust on the conference was displayed on the notice board put up by HJS.
