Hindu protagonists and DSP succeed after 2 years!

Sangli (Maharashtra): At the Vasantdada government hospital on both sides of the main staircase tiles with pictures of Hindu deities were fixed in the wall. The purpose of fixing these tiles was to prevent people from spitting on the walls. For two years a number of Hindu organisations and the Daily Sanatan Prabhat (DSP) made efforts to convince the authorities to remove these tiles and finally they succeeded. (It is indeed unfortunate that Hindus need to make efforts for two years in a country in which they are a majority, to stop attacks on their religion. If Muslims were to make the same demand the hospital would have complied the very next day! – Editor) The ex-District chief of the Shiv Sena Shri. Appasaheb Katkar and the BJP city councillor Shri. Prashant Khilare appealed to the authorities to remove these tiles as they were hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus. From time to time the Daily Sanatan Prabhat (DSP) had raised an outcry against this and had been following up the matter with the hospital authorities which finally took cognizance of the issue. (When the religious sentiments of Muslims are hurt they immediately resort to violence and rioting. Hindus do not do this, that is why their religious sentiments are not respected. The above example proves this further. – Editor)

When will the Collector’s office emulate the hospital?

Hindu protagonists and citizens  have appealed to the Collector to emulate the hospital and remove the tiles of Hindu deities on the staircase to prevent hurting the religious sentiment of Hindus.
