Illegal act of Christians in Navi Mumbai!

Navi Mumbai (Maharashtra): The New Life Christian Association had organised a function ‘Bless Navi Mumbai 2007’ in Navi Mumbai recently. To make publicity of the event, the Association put up hundreds of hoardings at various spots in Navi Mumbai; however, as per the reliable sources, permission to put up hoarding at 20 spots was only sought by the Association. It was disclosed that by installing more than 20 hoarding, the Association has put the Municipal Corpaotion to a loss of lakhs of rupees of revenue. (How can the Christians show ‘a way to the Truth, happiness and peace’ to the people if they themselves indulge in illegal acts? What action are the municipal authorities are taking on the Christians who have swallowed their income by installing hoardings without permission? – Editor) It is learnt that a senior officials of Municipal Corporation was utilizing municipal machinery to the fullest by taking advantage of his high office. (These are the pro-Christian municipal officials! People should take the official to task for his high-handed behaviour at the function! – Editor) Due to the official being in good books with the Association, the departmental officers are afraid of taking any action against the Association for the illegal hoardings.
