Sanskrit is the original language of Indians!

Dombivali (Maharashtra): "Sanskrit is the original language of Indians but today the British education system is being followed, which is wrong. The Indian system of stages of life is the most perfect one. A number of proofs of India's ancient civilization have been found during excavations," said Shri. Muzaffar Husain, a senior journalist. The 5th 'National Pride Lecture Series' was organised on 1st and 2nd December 2007 by the Alumni Association of Swami Vivekanand Vidyamandir, Vishnunagar, Dombivali (East). He was speaking as a chief guest on the occasion.

The function was inaugurated by lighting a lamp at the auspicious hands of Shri. Husain. He then paid Namaskar to the audience by holding hands in a Hindu method of paying obeisance.

While speaking on the topic of  'National Uprising of 1857, its causes and analysis' on 1st December, Shri. Husain said, "People generally say that the independence was achieved due to Mahatma Gandhi and Jawahrlal Nehru; But the next 90 years of revolution right from the national uprising are more important than the peace period of 27 years of Gandhi era from 1920 to 1947. The uprising of 1857 commenced from 1853 when people started declining payment of tax to government, not selling farm lands to the British etc. The uprising was correctly planned and accurately organised. But what is unfortunate is the fact that today there is a college and a railway station in the name of the British officer Elphinstone who had perpetrated atrocities on the people. But there is not a single memorial in the name of those who laid their lives in the uprising like Khudiram Bose, Chapekar brothers, etc." (Today's politicians are so ungrateful as to forget the very revolutionaries who sacrificed their lives for the nation! – Editor)

Shri. Husain praised the contribution of Maharashtra in the uprising and eulogized the freedom-fighter Savarkar who called the uprising as the first freedom struggle as 'a true son of Mother India'.

While speaking on the subject of 'how to celebrate a birthday', Shri. Husain said, "To light a lamp on the birthday is our culture and to extinguish lamp is a Western culture. But we copy the Westerners and thus celebrate birthdays in a wrong manner." (Why do Hindus don't understand what a Muslim journalist can? Let there be a crop of journalists like Shri. Husain everywhere who are teaching the greatness of Hnduism to Hindus and create pride for Dharma in them. – Editor) Shri. Husain concluded his speech with slogans of 'Vande Mataram'. (Shri. Husain has dealt a hard slap in the face of Muslims who oppose 'Vande Mataram'! – Editor)
