Sambhajinagar: FACT Exhibition in Savarkar Literature

Sambhajinagar (Maharashtra): The 20th Savarkar Sahitya Sammelan was held recently in Sant Eknath Rangmandir here. The convention is being organised regularly in honour of the renowned freedom fighter V.D. Savarkar for his the great contribution in the field of literature. The photo-exhibition of FACT ‘Gory Truth of Terrorism’ organised by Hindu Janjagruti Samiti at the venue of the convention also concluded on 6th January. The 2-day exhibition was visited by eminent personalities including MP Shri Chandrakant Khaire, MLA Shri Shrikant Joshi, famed author Prof. Sheshrao More etc. Many of them expressed concern over the increased spate of terrorism and agreed to participate in the activities of the Samiti to fight it out. 

         The Samiti had exhibited two files at the venue of the exhibition – one giving information about the nude pictures drawn by MF Husain and the other giving an illustrated account of the atrocities in the Achalapur riot in Amravati district recently.  Shri Khaire, MP, gave an assurance to render all possible cooperation to the Samiti to show the exhibition in different parts of the city.

Snippets

The representatives of various newspapers attended the Savarkar convention.  However, despite kind invitation, except the reporter of ‘Dainik Saamana’, no other reporters showed courtesy to visit the photo-exhibition. (This is the true colour of today’s pro-Muslim journalism! How can such newspapers ever educate the people? – Editor)
