A ‘Prayer Meeting for Health’ was recently organized at the grounds of Changu Kana Thakur College at New Panvel on behalf of the ‘Hindustan Fellowship Sevakai’ organization of Christians. In the Prayer meeting attended by a large no. of Hindus, it was announced that even serious ailments like AIDS would be cured.
It was also mentioned in the said meeting that there is a reference of Jesus even in the holy scriptures of Hindus like ‘Rigveda’. (Fight against False Propaganda by Christians – Editor)
On hearing such misguiding statement of the Christian speaker, Shri Girish Pujari, a member of HJS attending the meeting, went to the dais, took the microphone from that speaker and asked him to prove on what basis, he was making such statement. (Congratulations to Shri Girish Pujari who showed the guts to ask for explanation from Christians on hearing false statements made by anti-Hindus. There is a need of such ‘Dharma-bhimanis’ everywhere.)
At the same time, Shri Bapu Raokar, the Convener of HJS for Raigad district admonished the organizers for misguiding Hindus. Mrs. Mangala Gore (age � 60 years), a member of HJS demanded that the Christians should tender an apology for misguiding Hindus.
(Congratulations to Shri Pujari and Mrs. Gore, the members of HJS for demanding an explanation from anti-Hindu Christians. It is a matter of great concern that out of the large gathering of Hindus; only 3 Hindus came forward to ask for an explanation to Christians who were criticizing Hindus. It is another example of apathy on the part of Hindus towards their religion.- Editor)
The Christian Speaker stated before the audience that they had no intention of converting Hindus to Christianity [Convert Ram to Peter]. (Recognize the slyness of Christians! The fact that they felt the need to give an explanation only proves that they are guilty conscious- Editor)
The only living God in Heaven is Jesus Christ. (Christians have no knowledge about God� Editor)
Christ liberates all souls. (Our saints, seekers, devotees are getting new spiritual experiences from the 33 crores of deities. Also there are enough records of Hindus liberated by the Hindu deities. Therefore, Hindus do not need Christ for attaining liberation. � Editor)
Christ absolves everyone of sins. ( The Hindu deities, holy rivers and places of pilgrimage are capable of absolving Hindus of sins.-Editor)
People were also told that those suffering and ill, would be touched by Christ and they (Christians) would pray for them and treat them. (Hindus should not fall prey to craftiness of Christians. They should undertake spiritual practice as prescribed under Hindu religion and get rid of all the problems permanently- Editor)
