Trampling of Hindus’ freedom of expression is not a sign of ‘Achchhe Din’ : Pramod Mutalik

Shri. Pramod Mutalik, Founder of Sriram Sene said, “Dr. Pravin Togadia of Vishwa Hindu Parishada (VHP) looking after international affairs has been refused permission to visit Karnataka by the Congress Government ruling that State, for attending huge Hindu Convention planned by VHP at Bengaluru and is imposing ban even on telecast of his speeches. It is very unfortunate. VHP is the biggest Hindu organization and represents Hindus from all over the world. The ruling State Governments are throttling pro-Hindu organizations and their leaders.”

He further said, ” I, however, feel sorry that such throttling of Hindu leaders was first started by BJP Government ruling in Goa. I have been prohibited from visiting Goa for the last 6 months. Now, the Karnataka Government has imposed ban on Dr. Togadia from visiting the State and is following the same anti-Hindu policy. I am afraid that the BJP Government in Goa, imposing ban on Sriram Sene in that State, may prohibit even Yogi Adityanath and Dr. Togadia who will be attending the mammoth Hindu Convention being held at Margao, Goa on 3rd March 2015. It is certainly not a sign of ‘Achchhe Din’ for Hindutva despite BJP Government at the Centre; since the rights of freedom of expression, freedom of movement conferred on Hindu activists and leaders by the Constitution as citizens of this country, are being trampled. All devout Hindus should oppose to such throttling.”
