Encouragung response to FACT exhibition in Powai

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) held a photo-exhibition devised by FACT on oppression of Hindus in Kashmir and Bangla Desh at Sree Durvapriya Gajanan Mandir, Ganeshnagar, Panchkutir, Powai. The exhibition was held for a day and received a very encouraging response from devout Hindus. 
         
In Sree Durvapriya Gajanan temple where the idol of Sree Ganesh was recently consecrated by Jagatguru Swami Vidyashakar Bharati, Shankaracharya of Karaveer Peeth, the exhibition was inaugurated by Shri. Shamarao Krushna Madane, a devout Hindu and ex-branch-chief of Shiv Sena by lighting a lamp. An exhibition of books published by Sanatan Sanstha on various topics like spirituality and self-defence etc. was also held at the same venue.
      
Shri. Shamarao Madane, a reader of Sanatan’s weekly periodical and supporter of various campaigns undertaken by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, said, "The efforts of HJS to bring before the people of this country, truth behind oppression of Hindus in Kashmir and assaults on Hindu culture and Sanatan Dharma are praiseworthy. It is necessary that such information reaches to one and all through this exhibition. Hindus have to now wake up." He also wished for the success of HJS in its various activities and assured to continue support to such activities. He appealed to the members of audience to subscribe to Sanatan’s periodicals.

Co-operation

  • Shri. Vilas Markal, the President and Shri. Rajendra Desai, the Vice President of the Temple Trust granted permission, without any delay, to hold the exhibition and provided tables, chairs, boards, lamp, light arrangement and other necessary material for the exhibition.
  • A wooden board each was made available for advertisement of the exhibition by Shri. Arun Balan, a leader of Maharashtra Nava-nirman Sena and by Shiv Sena Consumer Protection Cell and temple trust.
