Govt. Administration should take serious note of ‘Valentine Day’ celebrations and arrest cultural downfall ! – Ramakant Konduskar
Belgavi (Karnataka) : If Sriram Sene activists find any young men and women involved in malpractices on ‘Valentine’s Day’ on 14th February, they will stop such malpractices. The Government and administration should therefore, take this matter seriously and prevent downfall of Hindu culture.
A rally joined by 2-wheeler riders will be taken out in the morning at 10.00 a.m. on 14th February from Shivaji Udyan, Shahapur for creating awareness. An appeal has been made to all devout Hindus for participating in this rally, by Shri. Ramakant Konduskar, the District-President of Sriram Sene while addressing a joint press conference held by Hindu organizations at ‘Kannada Sahitya Bhavan’ on 11th February. Shri. Girish Kulkarni of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) said, “Police should beef up patrolling so that young men and women don’t take advantage of deserted areas. ‘Yoga Vedanta Samiti’ has organized ‘Matru-Pitru Pujan Divas’ (Parents Worship Day) on 14th February in the city. All devout Hindus are appealed to attend the program in large number. The Government administration should create awareness in schools and colleges and organize ‘Matru- Pitru Din’.” The other office bearers attending the press conference were Shri. Ravi Kokitkar of ‘Hindu Rashtra Sena’, Shri. Rajendra Deshmukh of ‘Yoga Vedanta Seva Samiti’, Shri. Ghorpade, Shri. Maruti Sutar of Sriram Sene and other activists. A representation was submitted to District Collector N. Jayaram after the press conference.
Permission granted to Sriram Sene for taking out two-wheeler vehicles rally on 14th February since cancelled !
Sriram Sene had planned to take out vehicle rally on 14th February and necessary permission was also given by police for the same; but after submission of representation on 11th February to the District Collector, the police administration has suddenly cancelled such permission. Shri. Ramakant Konduskar and Shri. Matuti Sutar have been served notice and warned of arrest in case rally was taken out.
