Hindus warn police against arresting Gurudev Dr. Kate swamiji

Sangali (Maharashtra): On arresting the editor of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ based on the so called accusations, police had sought permission for presenting great saint Gurudev Dr. Kate Swamiji from Ahmadnagar. The Hindu Organisations warned the police that although Gurudev Dr. Kate Swamiji has crossed nineties, he still regularly writes in the interest of our Nation and Dharma and it would not be advisable to bring such venerable personality for interrogation. In fact, it would hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus, the most. Police should realize that the consequences of bringing him could create law and order problems. Shri. Kolhe, the Upper Police Superintendent was given a representation for withdrawal of action taken against the editor of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ on the so called accusations. A demand was also made to take action against the Miraj police for being discriminatory. Shri. Kolhe assured to look into the case and take appropriate action.

Shri. Narayanrao Kadam, the Chief Executive of Hindu Ekata Andolan said that police should use their discretion before taking such action. It was also their experience that Miraj police is not impartial and some day, they might have to face people’s outbreak. The representation submitted to Shri. Kolhe was signed by many devout Hindus.
