Mumbai : Malpractices in managing the Trust of Maharashtra Andha-shraddha Nirmulan Samiti (ANS), making changes in papers that are illegal, mismanagement in running the organization, presenting affidavit with fake signature of assistant Charity Commissioner, Satara to mislead etc. have taken place and the assistant Charity Commissioner and the State Government have been trying to shield ANS since 2013 despite lodging of many complaints, thus supporting the malpractices; therefore, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti made demand for conducting inquiry into ANS’ Trust through crime investigation branch, filing of cases against the concerned Trustees with Shri. Vijay Shivatare, the Minister (State) for Water Resources and Guardian Minister of Satara.
He has instructed the assistant Charity Commissioner, Satara to submit inquiry report. Shri. Satish Sonar of HJS, Shri. Kundan Raut of ‘Hindu Gou-vansh Raksha Samiti’ and other office bearers of these organizations were present on the occasion. It has been stated in the representation that Shiv Sena leader, Shri. Ramdas Kadam had demanded in State Legislative Council to conduct inquiry of scam committed by ANS as complaints were lodged by Hindutva-vadi organizations, Hindu Vidhidnya Parishada and Rashtriya Warkari Sena; but the State administration took no action.
The Guardian Minister Shri. Shivatare said, “It was a serious matter and requires prompt legal action. I will look into the matter personally and obtain inquiry report from assistant Charity Commissioner of Satara.”
