Akola (Maharashtra) : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) submitted representation to BJP-MLA, Shri. Govardhan Sharma and Shri. Randheer Savarkar with demands like taking preventive measures against the burning issue of ‘love jihad’, implementation of Act banning cow-slaughter and closure of all slaughter-houses in the State.

MLA- Shri. Sharma said, “I am well aware of HJS activities and I am also carrying out similar activities in the district. I have so far rescued ten girls from clutches of love jihad and cases have been filed against me in such matters. There is need for young men to come forward for undertaking these activities.”

MLA- Shri. Savarkar was explained about various activities undertaken by HJS. He said that he was with HJS in their drive against love jihad and protection of cows. He was ready to extend any help if required in such issues. He said that he was going to raise the issues related to implementation of the Act banning cow-slaughter all over the State and closure of all slaughter-houses, during session of State Assembly.

H.B.P. Girish Maharaj Kulkarni, ‘Gou-rakshak’ Shri. Paramjit Singh Ghuman, Shri. Prashant Patil of ‘Adarsh Gou-seva Prakalp’, Shri. Sanjay Thakur, Director of ‘Janaki Seeds’ and members of HJS were present on the occasion.
