HJS condemns arrest of Bhagavatacharya Utpat

Pandharpur (Maharashtra): How can the police file a case against a person like Bhagavatacharya V. N. Utpat who has always guided people on the path of righteousness? The action taken by the police on the basis of a wrong complaint by one Muslim person is most dishonorable. Had a Hindu lodged complaint against a Muslim guide, would police show same promptness in filing a case against him? The above incident shows the double standards used by the Government and Administration against Hindus. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has strongly condemned such anti-Hindu stand taken by the Government. A circular to the above effect was published by Dr. Avinash Kashid, a spokesperson of HJS from Marathwada.

It has been mentioned in the circular that why the police administration that has shown such promptness in taking action against a Hindu devout, has been so indifferent in taking action against anti-Hindu and anti-national painter M F Hussain when there were more than 1250 cases filed against him all over the country? It would be interesting to find out about the things that can hurt religious feelings of Muslims. When a photo-exhibition is held showcasing oppression of Hindus by Muslim terrorists in Kashmir and Bangla Desh, even then, their feelings are hurt.

Who told Sarfaraz that Swami Ramadas was not Guru of Shivaji Maharaj and how can police accept a new history written by Sarfraz and arrest a person like Bhagavatacharya V. N. Bhagavt? In fact, Mr. Sarfaraz has hurt religious sentiments of Hindus by passing such comments. Police should, therefore, take stringent action against him. The Government and Administration would be solely responsible for outbreak of Hindu rage in this matter. It has been stated that HJS condemns anti-Hindu action taken by the Government.
