Nagpur (Maharashtra) : Law banning cow-slaughter should be immediately implemented all over the State and all slaughter-houses should be closed down, were the demands made by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) through a representation submitted to Shri. Chandrashekhar Bavankule, the Guardian Minister of Nagpur and MLAs viz. Shri. Vikas Kumbhare, Shri. Sudhakar Kohale, Shri. Krushna Khopade, Sudhakar Deshmukh and Shri. Samir Meghe from Hingana. Shri. Vikas Kumbhare said that he too wished that the Act should be passed; in fact, by now, the Act should have been passed.
Representation submitted to Maharashtra CM for implementation of Act banning cow-slaughter
Nagpur : BJP Government should make efforts at State and Central level for passing of Act banning cow-slaughter. A representation with the above demand was submitted to Shri. Devendra Fadanvis, the Chief Minister (CM) of Maharashtra at his official residence ‘Ramgiri’ on 22nd February. He said that the course of action necessary for passing of the Act has been already taken. H.B.P. Devrao Vanave Maharaj, H.B.P. Ankush Narule Maharaj of Warakari Sampradaya, Shri. Jayant Bendre of Sanatan Sanstha, Shri. Dilip Paganis and Shri. Subhash Zanvar of HJS were present on the occasion.
