New Delhi : ‘Indian Institute of Oriental Heritage (IIOH)’ had organized its 38th conference between 22nd and 24th February at ‘Satya-Sai International Centre Auditorium’ on the topic of ‘Oriental Heritage 2015’. H. H. Dr. Charudatta Pingale, national Guide of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) was conferred ‘lifetime achievement’ award. The program was attended by Shri. Gopi Shastri, the President of IIOH, Chancellor Dr. Prof. Satyanarayan Chakrawarty, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Ramkrushna Shastri; chancellors, vice-chancellors of various Universities in India and industrialists, besides representatives of countries like Norway, England, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangla Desh etc. were present.
Dr. Ravindranath Bhattacharya, the Head of Sanskrut Department of Kolkata College inaugurated the conference by lighting lamp. The main speakers expressed their views on different aspects of Indian culture. Various awards like Vidyasagar award, Dr. C. V. Raman Memorial award, Global Achievers award, Lifetime Achievement award, Swami Vivekananda award, Innovative Business leader award etc. were presented on the occasion.
