Rashtriya Hindu Andolan at Solapur
Solapur (Maharashtra) : Hindu Dharma is ancient and cannot be compared with other Sects. Hindus need to create such awe that anyone will think 100 times before making mockery of seats of worship of Hindu Dharma or writing any bad word about Hindu Dharma on social websites. The above view was expressed by Dr. Rajendra Shah, the Editor of a weekly periodical called ‘Sahebancha Saheb’ while addressing demonstrators. Demonstrations were held under auspices of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’ near entrance gate of Zilha Parishad on 4th March.
Around 50 devout Hindus participated in the demonstrations.
Pass stringent laws against denigration of Deities and great national leaders over social websites ! – Vikram Ghodake, HJS
There are recurring incidents of misuse of social websites like Facebook for denigration of Deities, national leaders and other seats of worship of Hindus in Maharashtra. Many times, nothing happens after registering of cases. Such incidents are disturbing social harmony and religious sentiments of Hindus are hurt. Despite such incidents occurring every now and then and many cases have been registered, police have not arrested even a single accused; therefore, stringent law should be passed prohibiting to send indecent messages using pictures of Hindu Deities and national leaders.
Dignitaries participating in demonstrations :
Shri. Vyankatesh Madgundi, Shri. Shrikant Vallakati, Shri. Sandip Dhage, Shri. Siddharam Pujari, Shri. Sagar Yarzal, Shri. Ganesh Chaougule, Shri. Naresh Chitakandi, Shri. Nitin Paskanti, Shri. Yogesh Panibhate and Shri. Hiralal Tiwari of Sanatan Sanstha etc.
