Thane (Maharashtra) : ‘We have to establish the Ram-rajya by fighting like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Therefore, everyone should imbibe the base of spiritual practice as possessed by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and bravery displayed by him instead of just narrating the tales of bravery of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj,’ said Shri. Prasad Wadke of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.
He was speaking in the programme to celebrate the anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj organised by ‘Janata Raja Mitra Mandal’ of Shri. Kiran Kene at Nambavali, Titwala. The programme was attended by 600 devout Hindus.
A procession was organised by ‘Shri Shiv-pratishthan’ along with the band consisting ‘Dhol-Tashe’ in the Thane city. Shri. Prashant Surve of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti garlanded the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Talavpali area at the termination of the procession. Similarly, the ‘Mashal Jyot-yatra’, brought from Vasai fort was also terminated by performing worship and garlanding it. The youth resolved to undertake education on Dharma and self-defence training in order to implement the mission like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
On behalf of Ranaragini branch, Sou. Vedika Palan and Sou. Radha Surve narrated the importance of self-defence training and sadhana at Shelu and Bhare town, Bhivandi respectively, in the programmes organised on the occasion of Women’s Day.
In a programme organised at Shahapur, Shri. Mahesh Mulik of Samiti informed about the stance taken by NCERT to distort the historical facts. The Shiv Sena branch of Shahapur exhibited physical games at the beginning of the programme to celebrate Shiv-jayanti.
