Ranchi (Bihar): In the issue dated March 1, 2008 of daily newspaper ‘Hindustan’, Shri. P. Chidambaram, the central Finance Minister has been shown as Lord Sree Krishna surrounded by farmers in the form of ‘Gopis’ (It is because of lifeless and spineless Hindus, anyone and everyone is making mockery of Hindu deitiesHindus must wake up and change this situation – Editor) In another picture in the same issue of ‘Hindustan’, Shri. Chidambaram has been shown as Lord Sree Krishna with folded hands on the hood of serpent ‘Kalia’. In the same issue, holy symbol of ‘Om’ and some of the ‘shlokas’ have been ridiculed in the news about concessions offered to senior citizens and farmers in the budget. It has been mentioned as ‘Om Krushakaaya Namah’, ‘Om Varishtha Naagarikaaya Namah’.

Devout Hindus from Zarkhand and Bihar started protest drives against the newspaper in various manner like signature campaign at Dhanbad, Bokaro, Jamashedpur, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur etc. writing protest leters to the editor of the newspaper or sending sms etc. (Congratulations to devout Hindus for protesting against such denigration – Editor) Many devouts are planning to discontinue subscribing to the newspaper owing to this denigration.
