HJS demands Chief Minister, Nandurbar Guirdian Minister and Home Minister for State

hjs_logo320-240Mumbai : Revert the crimes registered unnecessarily under the Criminal Procedure Code sections 169 and 175 against Dr. Narendra Patil, worker of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) in connection with the riot at Nandurbar, demanded Dr. Narendra Patil on 18th march with the Chief Minister Mr. Devendra Phadnavis, Nandurbar’s Guardian Minister Mr. Girish Mahajan and the home minister for the State Prof. Ram Shinde through a memorandum.

After sending the letter to the Police Commissioner, the Chief Minister had demanded an appropriate action in that regard. The Chief Minister and Mr. Girish Mahajan, Nandurbar’s Guardian Minister were contacted on behalf of HJS.

A representation was handed over to Prof. Ram Shinde on behalf of HJS under the leadership of Mr. Narendra Pawar, BJP’s MLA. Hunger strike was held on 4th January on behalf of devout Hindu Organisations at Nandurbar for shutting the cow-slaughter house, stopping the smuggling of cattle and for removing the banner of Tipu Sultan. District Bandh was organised at that time.

Despite the call of Bandh, fanatics under the pretext of altercation between the children playing cricket started the riot at 3.30 p.m. At that time Dr. Narendra Patil was implicated in the crimes unnecessarily and was arrested. Dr. Patil is a disable person due to one arm missing. In such a state how can he start riot ? This thing was brought to the notice of the Chief minister and he has also assured to look into the case.
