Singapore:
Tourism and Culture Minister Ambika Soni on Saturday said the Ram Setu issue, which was mired in a controversy, is "under control."

"It has always been under control," Soni told reporters after inaugurating the incredibleindia@60 cultural extravaganza.

She said it was "unfortunate" that a wrong affidavit was first filed in the Supreme Court.

"Subsequently a revised affidavit, which has been cleared has been filed in the apex court," she added.

The Sethusamudram project which plans to create a channel by dredging the Adam’s Bridge connecting India and Sri Lanka, ran into a controversy over security, economic, environmental and social issues.
