Pravachan by HJS activist at Narasimha temple, Ernakulam

Kadavanthara (Kerala) : A discourse on ‘Dharmacharan’ was held at Narasimha temple, Kadavanthara during the annual temple festival on 31st, March 2015. About fifty people attended the discourse. Kum. Praneeta Sukhtankar of Hindu Janjagruti Samiti guided the audience on the Dharma topic.

Speaking on the occasion Kum. Praneeta said that Hindu Dharma is the greatest of all religions and it is very sad to say that we are not taught about Hindu Dharma in schools and colleges and hence it is vital to not only know about Hindu Dharma, but also practice it. She told the science behind application of kumkum, scientific method of doing namaskar, why say ‘namaskar’ and not ‘hello’ while speaking on phone, etc.

An exhibition on Holy texts and products of Sanatan Sanstha was also put up. Many people came forward and benefited from it.

Highlights

1. Three people came forward and said that the discourse was very practical and that it was very much needed especially for children.

2. One elderly person who attended the discourse said that in the discourse ill effects of giving hand shake was told and hence soon after the discourse though a person came and greeted him with a shake hand in the temple, he did namaskar to him.

3. One person Shri. Balakrishnan gave more contacts of other people who could help in prasar.
