Hindus demand through a movement in Mangaluru, Karnataka
Recently Prof. Bhagvan had made a statement saying, Shriram is not God and not had vowed to have only one wife. With a view to make the Government take strict action on Prof. Bhagvan, an andolan was held on 1st April at Mangaluru on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) before the District Collector’s office.
Shri. Kumar Malemar of Shriram Sena, Shri. Vijaykumar of HJS, Mrs. Manjula Gauda of Sanatan Sanstha, devout Hindu Shri. Udayshankar, Shri. Lokesh and many others were present on this occasion. At that time Shri. Kumar Malemar said, in order to get publicity through media some rationalists are purposely insulting our Deities criticising them unnecessarily. Despite continuous attacks on Hindu Dharma, since the secular Government is not taking any action against them the Hindu community is enraged.
Devout Hindu Shri. Udaykumar said, attacks on Hindu Dharma are increasing day by day only because Hindus are tolerant. Some organisations like HJS come to street and agitate immediately if any harm is caused to Dharma. All have to support them in this mission. In the end, all devout Hindus coming together gave the representation addressed to the Government in the hands of the upper District Collector Sadashiv Prabhu.
