Would you call these as ‘Achchhe din’ of Modi when devout Hindus have to hold demonstrations against BJP, calling itself Hindutva-vadi ?
Hubli, Karnataka : Activists of several devout Hindu organisations including Shriram Sene held demonstrations on 2nd April 2015 at Hubli, Karnataka to protest against an unjust ban imposed on the entry of a devout Hindu organisation Shriram Sene by the Goa Government since last 8 months. Saints from the city of Hubli also participated in the demonstrations. The BJP Government in Goa has imposed a ban on the entry of Shriram Sene in Goa since August 2014. The duration of the ban is being increased from time to time by issuing orders. Recently, another extension was issued to the ban for a further period of 4 months. Shri. Pramod Muthalik has also challenged the ban in the High Court. The hearing of this petition is taking its own time.
In order to create awareness about the ban among the citizens, demonstrations were also held at Ambedkar Circle in Hubli against the ban. In the demonstrations, Shri. Pramod Muthalik, President of Shriram Sene, Shri. Gangadhar Kulakarni, Karnataka State Organising Secretary of Shriram Sene, H.H. Mohan Guruswami, H.H. Sangamanand Swami, H.H. Shadakshari Swami, all from Hubli, Shri. Guruprasad of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Shri. Basavaraj Hadpad of Hindu Mahasabha and many activists were present.
When the citizens of Nigeria, Britain and Afghanistan are allowed to enter Goa without arresting them, why a ban is imposed on Hindu Shri. Pramod Muthalik ?, ‘Why Rashtriya Svayamsevak Sangh is maintaining silence over the policy of BJP Government in Goa ?’, ‘ Down with the BJP Government infringing right of freedom !’ The boards displaying these slogans were held by the demonstrators. The objective of the demonstration was also to attract the attention of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other office bearers of BJP attending the National Executive meet being held in Bengaluru, towards the unjust decision taken by the BJP Government in Goa.
