PFI should be immediately banned : demand by HJS

Amaravati (Maharashtra) : Most destructive organisation of fanatics, called ‘Popular Front Of India’ is creating havoc all over the country. Many of its workers are involved along with murders, attempts to murder, communal riots, manufacturing bombs, in many other criminal activities and they are under trial.

Under the garb of social work, this organisation is in fact encouraging youth for undertaking communal riots. Kerala Government has already declared in its court that this organisation was involved in activities which are destructive to the country. On 19th February Popular Front Of India was instrumental in killing 3 Hindus after starting riots during the procession that was organised by the said organisation in Karnataka. That includes one volunteer of the RSS also.

Therefore a representation stating that looking to the previous history of the organisation ‘Popular Front Of India’ which is engaged in terrorist and other activities which are destructive for the nation should be banned immediately and all their programme too should be cancelled, was handed over to the Resident District Collector Mohan Paturkar on 1st April. A signature campaign too was held on 28th March. Shri. Vijay Umbarkar, Sou. Smita Thakre of HJS and Shri. Girish Komerwar of Sanatan Sanstha were present at this time.

Taking the issue of the atrocities meted out to Hindus in Bangladesh to the international level the Government should find a concrete solution !

Amaravati (Maharashtra) : ‘Bangladesh Minority Watch’ delegation had a discussion about the atrocities meted out to minority Hindus in Bangladesh meeting the Indian High Commissioner Shri. Pankaj Saran. ‘Bangladesh Minority Watch’ brought to the notice of the High Commissioner, Shri. Saran that it has been trying to get financial help for the rehabilitation of the Hindu families tormented by fanatics in Bangladesh and restoration of the temples there destroyed by fanatics, meeting the Indian High Commissioner many times before and a proposal was also was sent to the Indian embassy then; but since 2002 no help was given.

With a view to get a fair investigation regarding the violation of human rights, a demand has been made through a representation to the resident District Collector Mohan Paturkar asking for an investigating team of judges to be sent there. A signature campaign was held for this demand on 28th March.
