Devgad (Maharashtra): In the current times the Hindu Dharma is being attacked from all sides. The rapid deterioration of The Hindu Society due to blind following of Western culture, the passing of various acts against the Hindus by the ‘secular’ politicians, the increasing speed of conversions of Hindus, destruction of Ram Setu, the constant shadow of Jihadi terrorism on the Hindu society and Hindu Temples, the rampant destruction of idols of Hindu Deities are the various ways in which Hindu Dharma is being attacked but the Hindu society remains inactive.

Hence in order to make the Hindus understand the very serious circumstances developing in the future and make them united for the protection of Dharma, ‘Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha’ was organized today at Jamsande-Devgad by Hindu Janjagruti Samiti. More than two thousand Hindus who were present for this Sabha held in this land of Sri Parshuram determined to ward off attacks on Hindu Dharma!
The Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha started at 6 o’clock in the evening at Jamsande Highschool grounds here. The Vedmnatra recitation by priest Sri Sanjay Ukidawe from Wada and his collegues in the beginning of Sabha infused Chaitanya at the venue of Sabha. Thereafter Deepa-Prajwalan was done with kaypanji at the holy hands of Saint H.H. Parulekar Maharaj from Varad, Malvan. On this occasion , H.H. Sawant Maharaj from Vengurle, belonging to H.H. Gagangiri Maharaj Sampraday, Shri. Ramesh Shinde, chief spokesperson of Hindu Janjagruti Samiti for Maharashtra State,Shri. Vinay Panwalkar , Prasar Sevak of Sanatan Sanstha were present on the dais. Following the Deep-Prajwalan the saints present were honoured and the respected speakers were welcome.

The District Convener of ‘Math- Mandir Adhigrahan Virodhi Samiti’ Shri. P. J . Ogale honoured!
On this occasion, Sri Purushottam Janardan Ogale who is district convener of ‘ Math-Mandir Adigrahan Virodhi Samiti’ and who is regularly involved in awakening of people against the Temple Takeover Act and is also actively associated with the activities of Hindu Janjagruti Samiti was honoured at the hands of Saint H.H. Sawant Maharaj of H.H. Gagangiri Maharaj Sampraday, Vengurla.Following this while expressing himself he said, “It is unfortunate that Dharmasabhas are required to awaken the Hindus of Devgad District.This work of awakening the Hindus will go on for some time and later everything will happen according to God’s wish. Hinduism is slowly getting established in western countries whereas in Bharat it is disintegrating. Presently only Dainik Sanatan Prabhat is doing the work of Hindu Dharmajagruti. Therefore every Wadi should subsribe to at least one Dainik Sanatan Prabhat.”
Important resolutions put forward in the Dharmajagruti Sabha
- Cancel the Setusamudram Project responsible for destruction of Ramsetu and declare RamSetu as National heritage.
- Declare Hindu-hater painter M.F. Hussain as a criminal and arrest him immediately.
- Cancel the acts namely Anti faith bill and Temple Takeover Bill.
- Government should take stringent action against those who are denigrating Hindu Deities through the medium of advertisements, dramas, paintings, products, literature etc
- Government should hand over all the temples taken over by it to the devotees and should stop political interference in the Temples.
- As per the verdict of the Supreme Court , Mohamed Afzal should be hanged at the earliest.
- Hounarably rehabilitate the displaced Kashmiri Hindus in Kashmir itself.
- Ban the plastic and paper made national flags and take strict action against those who insult the National flag.
- ‘ Vande Mataram’ song should be compulsorily sung in all the schools.
