Ramsetu Raksha Yagna & Ram Navami Shobha Yatra

New Delhi: The procession of Sree Ram Navami was arranged with great zeal under the guidance of Indraprastha Vishva Hindu Parishad by Hindu Parva Samanvaya Samitee and other religious, cultural, social & educational institutions of Delhi. More then 200 Jhankis & Bhajan Mandalis were decorated by devotees. Jhanki of Bhagwan Sree Ram showing crushing the demons was worth seen. Office bearers of the different institutions were seen with saffron turban (Bhagva shafa) in an open jeep preceeded by the Shri Hanuman Dhwaja (flag) and followed by well decorated 21 horses and 51 odd bikes with band parties playing Sri Ram Dhun, singing and dancing.

Ex International president of VHP Shri Vishnu Hari Dalmia & Ex Director of C.B.I. Sardar Joginder Singh ignited Lamps to inaugurate the procession. Speaking on the occasion, Shri. Dalmia said it is very unfortunate that the existence of Sree Ram is being questioned in the land where everybody worships lord Ram. The Ramsetu made by him is being destroyed for political motives. We will fight to save it.

Ramsetu Maha Yagna was also performed before start of the shobha Yatra in the presence of various religious, social & cultural organizations of the national capital at the same venue.

The President of Indraprastha Vishwa Hindu Parishad Shri. Om Prakash Singhal, vice presi. Shri. Rajendra Prasad, General secretary Rastra Prakash , organizing secretary Karuna Prakash, chairman of the Hindu Parwa Samanwaya Samitee Swami Raghwanand ji, general secretary Ram Prakash Dhingara chairman of the Sanatan Dharma Pratinidhi Sabha Manohar Lal Kumar, the president of Dharmayatra Maha Sangh Mange Ram Garg, general secretary of Delhi unit of Sant Mahamandal Mahant Naval Kishore das Ji Maharaj, Ramkishan Das Mahatyagi of Hanuman Vatika, convenor of Delhi unit of Bajrang Dal Ashok Kapoor along with a number of Saints, sages and representatives of various organisations have threw light on the incarnation of Bhagwan Shri Ram.

Yatra was started at 2.30 p.m. from Ram Leela Maidan and ended at Gangeshwar Dham Karol Bag. Thousands of People gathered at various places such as Asfali Road, Dariya ganj , town hall, M.M. Road etc to welcome the Yatra.
