Essential to prepare ideal teachers before modifying the present Education System ! – H. H. Dr. Charudatta Pingale

Karnavati (Gujrat) : Basic transformation is necessary in the present Education System; but before that it is all the more essential to prepare ideal teachers moulding a cultured generation, said National Guide of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) H. H. Dr. Charudatta Pingale.

Presently the Central Government is trying to bring the necessary change in the Education System in Bharat. A programme concerning this issue was organised in Hemchandracharya Sanskrut Pathshala, that is, ‘Gurukul’ at Ramnagar, Sabarmati for dignitaries in various fields. H. H. Dr. Pingale was addressing this gathering.

The programme was divided in 2 sessions. In the first session, a topic for contemplation based on the contents expected to be changed in the educational field and the topic ‘Duty of everyone in the Educational Policy in Bharat’ was placed before the audience. Shri. Aniruddha Deshpande, chief contact of RSS, Sah-sanghatan mantri Shri. Mukulji Kanitkar and National Secretary of Shiksha Sanskruti Samiti Shri. Atulbhai Kothari spoke on the said topic. In the second session the Saints and dignitaries present in the programme spoke about their mission and concepts undertaken in the educational field.

Pujya Dr. Pingale gave information concerning the concept of Sanatan Sanstha and HJS regarding an Ideal Educational System, expansiveness of educational system and Educational strategies, importance of joint families, future generation that is being moulded in Sanatan’s ashrams all over Bharat, the positive effect of this education on them etc.; He also explained the mission carried out by Sanatan Sanstha and HJS regarding creating ideal teachers and society.

Swami Brahmanand of Braahma Mahavidyalay of Telangana told that the students in their school are imparted education related to the philosophy in Vedas, importance of Sanskrut language and its knowledge etc.

Swamini Sulbhanandaji explaind in her speech how the impressions (Sanskars) concerning moral values are imbibed on the students in selected schools in Gujrat and their future plans.

At the same time, Shri. Mansukhbhai from Rajkot explained about creating awareness about nurturing cows (Gopalan), Shri. P.D. Lele, Prof. of physics and engaged in enhancing the effect of Sanskrut in the Educational System, Shri. Mafatlal Patel working in the Educational field for the last many years and Shri. Uttambhai Shah, Director of Hemchandracharya Sanskrut Pathshala also expressed their thoughts on this occasion.

Highlights

1. The programme commenced with students from the Gurukul presenting ‘Saraswati vandana’.

2. Attempt is being made to maintain the environment in the Hemchandracharya Sanskrut Pathshala, that is, Gurukul like that in the ancient times.

3. Walls, floor of all the classrooms in the Pathshala are smeared with cow dung and the students appear to be enjoying the education imparted here. The premises of the Pathashala too perceived as cool.
