Representations submitted to theatre-managers demanding ban on release of the film

Pune (Maharashtra) : Anti-Hindu film titled ‘Dharma Sankat mein’ should not be released was the demand made through representations submitted to 14 theatre-managers at Pune (10 theatres) and Pimpri-Chinchwad (4 theatres) including theatres like ‘E-Square’, ‘City-Pride’, ‘Adlab’, Inox’ etc.

The theatre-managers responded positively and promised to take necessary action. Shri. Santosh Gopal of Shiv Sena from Khadakvasla, Shri. Vijay Gawade of ‘Patit Pavan Sanghatana’, Shri. Pravin Naik and Shri. Shyam Ghagre of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) besides many devout Hindus were present while submitting the representations.

Will cine executive associations take similar step at other places as taken in Kolhapur ?

Kolhapur (Maharashtra) : Shri. Shivanand Swami, Shri. Rajan Bunage and Shri. Madhukar Nazare of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) met Shri. Sachin Shah, the President of Kolhapur District Cine Executive Association on 8th April 2015 in connection with their demand to ban screening of the Hindi film titled ‘Dharam Sankat mein’.

Shri. Shah promised them that a circular would be sent to all theatre owners in Kolhapur advising against releasing the film in their theatres. (Congratulations to Kolhapur Cine Executive Association for proposing to take steps against anti-Hindu film ! The Association should, however, see that its instructions were followed after issue of such circular ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Similar representation was also submitted on the same day to Dy. District Collector, Shri. Chavan. He told HJS representatives that he would discuss the matter with theatre-owners.
