Maharashtra : Movement against anti-Hindu film ‘Dharam Sankat mein’ continues

Awareness created through representations against anti-Hindu film ‘Dharam Sankat mein’ in Maharashtra

Panvel (Maharashtra) : Representation was given to theatre manager of ‘Cineraj’ against the anti-Hindu film ‘Dharam Sankat mein’. He said that complaint should be lodged with Film Censor Board that films based on religion should not be made. Many devout Hindus and office bearers of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) were present on the occasion.

Advocate Prathamesh Soman, municipal councilor of Shiv Sena from Panvel and Shri. Kunal Kurghode were called up and informed about the anti-Hindu film. He said that the managers of Cineraj and Rupali theatres would be explained the subject in their own way so as to prevent screening shows of this film.

Owners of 3 theatres promise HJS to not screen the film

Satara (Maharashtra) : We are Hindus and respect religious sentiments. Tell us in advance whenever there are such things in a film. We will not screen it in our theatres, promised owners of theatres in Satara to HJS. Representations were submitted to owners of theatres viz. Radhika, Rajlakshmi, Samarth and New Chitra theatres from Wai by Shri. Vinayak Kulkarni, Shri. Rahul Kolhapure, Sou. Rupa Mahadik, Sou. Leela Nimbalkar of HJS and Shri. Umesh Gandhi of Hindu Mahasabha.

Representation submitted to District Collector !

Satara : Shri. Ashwin Mudgal, District Collector of Satara was submitted representation demanding issue of instructions to concerned authorities for taking immediate action on the same as the film was to be released on 10th April. Tehsildar Kadam, who accepted the representation on behalf of the District Collector, gave required instructions by calling the concerned officers in front of HJS members.

Representations submitted to theatre managers at Sambhajinagar and Jalna

Sambhajinagar (Maharashtra) : Hindutva-vadis got together to oppose anti-Hindu film ‘Dharam Sankat mein’ and submitted representations to theatre-managers against release of the above film. Hindus’ Saints have been depicted in objectionable manner; hurting religious sentiments of Hindus; therefore, such film should not be screened, was the demand made through representations submitted to theatres viz. PVR, E-Square, Amba-Apsara, Anjali, Fame Tapadia and District Collector, Jalna by the ‘Hindutva-vadis’.

On receiving the representation, poster of this film was immediately removed by ‘E-Square’ theatre; promising Hindutva-vadis of conveying their sentiments to senior officers of the theatre.

Representation submitted to theatre-owners at Pandharpur

Pandharpur-Solapur (Maharashtra) : Representation against screening of such film was submitted on behalf of HJS to Shri. Bohari, owner of Sargam Theatre by its member Shri. Shashishekhar Patil; Shri. Pratap Singh Salunkhe, Shri. Saurabh Kashinath Thite-Patil, Shri. Sudhir Ghodake of ‘Shiva-bhakta Pratishthan’; Shri. Rohit Khadake, Tushar Khadatare, Akash Waghmare, Shubham Waghmare, Mukesh Lakheri, Suraj Khadake, Aniket Salunkhe, Vishal Kumbhar of ‘Shiva-premi Tarun Mandal’ along with Kiran Dubey, Rohit Goyal, advocates Sandip Apsingekar and Neelesh Sangolkar.
