Road blocked against Cow slaughtering, hundreds arrested

Angry villagers & VHP – Bajrang Dal activists today blocked the busy main Mathura road opposite Sarita Vihar police station in south delhi. They were protesting against serial killing of cows near Agra canal. Seventeen carcasses of cows have yet been found at the same place in the last seven days. Hundreds of protesters were arrested but later released.

Addressing the gathering the state deputy chief of Bajrang Dal, Delhi advocate Sailendra Jaiswal said that there is great conspiracy to break hindu sentiments by continuous killing of cows at the same place. It is unfortunate that the police have done nothing in the case. If the police failed to nave the culprits immediately, we would be constrained to take some action in the matter.

South zone’s chairman of MCD Chaudhry Bhram Prakash, state chief of cow protection movement shri. Tara Chand & Sandeep Ahuja, State head of Vishwa Hindu Mahasangh mahant Surendranath Avdhoot, south Delhi President of VHP shri. Jagdeesh Chandra, distt. Presi. Shri Kuldeep singh, Mahesh Saxena, MAdan Singh, Vinod Gupta, Vinay Yadav, social worker shri. Panna Lal Garg, Kapil Garg were the amongst those who have addressed the cow devotees. Many office bearers & supporters of Madan Pur Khadar & Jasaula village panchayats, RWAs, Sanatan Dharma Pratinidhi Sabha, Arya Samaj, Mandir Samitees, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Nagrik Suraksha Samitee were  present on the occasion.
