Strong demand of passing Common Civil Code and removal of word ‘secular’ from Indian Constitution

Devout Hindus staging demonstrations at Nalasopara

Nalasopara, Mumbai (Maharashtra) : The word ‘secular’ added to Indian Constitution should be removed. The Common Civil Code as directed by the Supreme Court should be implemented were the main demands, among others, made during demonstrations staged by all ‘Hindutva-vadi’ organizations under the auspices of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’.

Demonstrations held at ‘Panch-mukhi Hanuman Mandir’ were joined by about 70 members of pro-Hindu organizations viz. Shiv Sena, BJP, VHP, Bajarang Dal, Shri. Yoga Vedanta Samiti, Hindu Gou-vansh Raksha Samiti, Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS).

Prof. K. S. Bhagavan from Karnataka talked about burning copies of Bhagavat Geeta; whereas Shri. Dnyanprakash Swami declared that he had already burnt 1000 copies of Bhagavat Geeta. Action should be taken against both and ancient Hindu temples should be repaired and renovated were the other demands made on this occasion.

Shri. Vaibhav Gawade, a devout Hindu addressed the participants. Shri. Sumit Sagavekar of HJS gave introductory speech.

Guidance by dignitaries

1. Shri. Rajesh Kadam, the Chief of Department on Spirituality, Bhakti Vedanta Hospital- Saint Kabir left Quran after reading Bhagavat Geeta. The omniscient sages and seers read Bhagavat Geeta and fulfilled their goal of life. Many renowned scientific research work has been discarded by the present day scientists; but the Geeta narrated 5000 years ago, holds the same meaning and is relevant even today.

2. Shri. Shivkumar Pande, city-Chief, Bajarang Dal – Minorities are being appeased under the name of secularism. Pakistan’s flag is flown in Kashmir. Secular people, keeping quiet even after release of Masarat, a terrorist, are always eager to talk against Hindus. Hindus should not fall prey to the mask of secularism and should now come together.

3. Shri. Prashant Vaity, ‘Gou-vansh Raksha Samiti’- Bhagavat Geeta is Holy Scripture of Hindus and its insult will not be tolerated.
