Rashtriya Hindu Andolan : Kagal (Kolhapur)

Tehsildar Shri. Shantaram Sangade (on right) accepting representation from devout Hindus

Kagal-Kolhapur (Maharashtra) : The word ‘secular’ which was originally not part of Constitution of this country but was later added illegally during the period of emergency, should be removed and appeasement of minorities should be stopped; the unpardonable disregard shown towards Hindus’ ancient cultural treasure should be stopped and the Government should give necessary aid for repairs and proper maintenance; legal action should be taken against Prof. Bhagavan for insulting Bhagavat Geeta.

These were the demands made through a representation submitted to Tehsildar Shri. Shantaram Sangade at Kagal by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). Shri. Preetam Pawar, Shri. Babasaheb Bhopale, Santosh Sanagar of HJS and other devout Hindus were present on the occasion.
