Indians should offer gratitude to God for this success !

Congratulations to Shiv Sena for forcing cancellation of program with artists from Pakistan !

Pune (Maharashtra) : A program of Pakistan’s artist Atif Aslam was to be held on 25th April at Amanora Park which has since been cancelled after strong opposition by Shiv Sena. A letter to the above effect has been sent by Anjaney Sathe, one of the organizer groups of the above program. 1. A representation was submitted by Shiv Sena to Hadapsar police station on 19th April demanding cancellation of the said program; considering sentiments of Hindus and patriotic citizens; else Shiv Sena would intensify their agitation.

2. The agitation was led by former MLA Shri. Mahadev Babar. A representation was also submitted to District Collector by Shiv Sena on 20th April.

3. Owing to Shiv Sena’s opposition, many Hindus called up one of the sponsors, Sathe group appealing them to cancel the program.

4. Sathe group accordingly sent a letter to Shiv Sena stating that ‘the only purpose of this program was entertainment and not hurting anyone’s sentiments; but many people have contacted us and requested us to cancel this program. Shiv Sena has warned to stage agitations; therefore, we are cancelling the program.’
