Fevicol has always had memorable ads and catchy phrases, from “Dum lagake Haisha” to “Fevicol ka jod hai, tootega nahi”, apart from being the central theme in Dabangg 2‘s famous song, Fevicol Se.

All this public love apart, now a BJP MP from Ujjain, Chintamani Malviya has a problem with the latest Fevikwik ad and wants it to be banned (Fevikwik and Fevicol are a part of the same umbrella company, Pidilite).

Indian Express reports that Malviya wanted the home minister to take criminal action against the director, the scriptwriter and the company for anti-national activities.

The ad, which is frequently shown on TV, has two soldiers standing at the Wagah border; one from India and the other from Pakistan.

In the middle of a salute, the Pakistani soldier realises that his shoe is torn, and the Indian soldier sneakily uses Fevikwik to set things right. The phrase read at the end reads: Todo nahi, Jodo

According to this Times of India report, Malviya called the ad anti-national and an insult to the soldiers of the nation, and raised an objection to it in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.

“I request the government that the creator, writer and director of this ad be tried for treason,” Malviya said, in the TOI report.

It’s so disgusting to appease the pakees in any way. Na-Pakistan, as I like to call it, thinks that hating India is the only way for them to unite themselves!
