Vaishakh Krushna Pratipada
NCP leader P A Sangma suggested on NDTV’s Walk the Talk programme that the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) should come together.
The BJP rejected that outright but now Senior RSS ideologue M G Vaidya has said that Congress and BJP should come together to form a government at the centre with mutual co-operation.
In his weekly column in a local Marathi daily Tarun Bharat, Vaidya spoke about such an experiment in Germany where two major political parties have formed the government.
Coming from a senior RSS functionary his statement is bound to embarrass the BJP.
