‘Govt should not create charade of secularism by removing Om from Yoga’

‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’ Jalgaon, Maharashtra

Jalgaon (Maharashtra) : Various Hindu organizations and Sects staged demonstrations under the aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’ condemning removal of ‘Om’ from ‘Yoga-kriya’ opposing plans to take gold from Hindus’ temples for strengthening financial position of this country instead of bringing back black money accumulated by Indians in other countries or use of other options for improving financial condition; for prevention of moral decline of young generation by stopping propagation of immorality and vulgarity.

The demonstrations were held on 2nd May near office of Jalgaon Municipal Corporation.

The demonstrators, devout Hindus raised slogans and displayed boards on the above subjects to create awareness amongst people. Shri. Shreyas Pisolkar did compeering of the program. Shri. Dattatreya Waghulde of Sanatan Sanstha said, “Why the rulers always have an eye on Hindus’ wealth ? Wakf Board has lot of land following temples whereas churches also own thousands of acres of land. Why the Government does not think about taking over such land ? The Central Government should not implement this order.”

Kum. Pratiksha Korgaonkar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) said, “People openly propagating indecency in the name of freedom of expressions should be driven out of India.”

Shri. Vijay Patil of HJS said that the Government should not show off its secularism by removing ‘Om’ from ‘Yogasanas’. All of them went to District Collector’s office to submit a representation in the end. H.B.P. Varsalekar Maharaj, Shri. Mohan Tiwari of Shiv Sena, Shri. Kapil Thakur and Shri. Mahesh Sapkale of ‘Swarajya Nirman Sena’ and Shri. Gaurav Tambat and Shri. Rahul Marathe along with other several devout Hindus were present on the occasion.
